Loans up to £50,000 are available to all eligible businesses who will need to meet certain criteria and demonstrate their commercial viability. The interest rate is 6%, fixed for the period of loan. The maximum repayment period is 5 years, although 'capital holidays', usually 6 months may be considered. The Fund will reserve the right to seek any form of security as appropriate.
The Fund will normally operate in conjunction with other commercial lending agencies and applicants must demonstrate that at least 50% of the total funding package is being provided by the private sector.
